Residential Renovations Site Supervisor / Carpenter

Objective:

Perform all tasks related with residential renovations and new home construction including but not limited to Demolition, Rough Framing, and Finish Carpentry.
Supervise labourers, apprentice carpenters, carpenters, and subcontractors, as directed by Project Manager.
Make work assignments, monitor quality, and motivate crew.
Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals.
Ensure jobsite safety, protection and maintenance of company tools, and enforce all job site rules.
Train carpenters and apprentice carpenters.

Minimum Qualifications

6 years work experience with Journeyman Ticket. Experience in residential renovations & new home construction including Demolition, Rough Framing & Finish Carpentry.
The ability to read and understand construction documents.
General knowledge of residential mechanical systems.
Be responsible and have a professional attitude and appearance.
Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives.
Valid Alberta Drivers License & Own Vehicle a must.
Own Hand Tools & Basic Power Tools.
Standard first aid w/CPR certification.
References will be requested and checked.
